A Couple of New Sport Aircraft at Tauranga

The Hairy Mole Rat was at Tauranga Airport on 6 November and photo'd these two new sport aircraft outside Solo Wings:

Zenith Zodiac CH 601XL ZK-XXL (c/n 6-9818) was registered to C A Jones of Mt Maunganui on 9/10/19.  I understand it is a kit built example.

And the Tecnam P 2002 Sierra 24-8356 (c/n 499) was registered as ZK-DOY2 to the Wairarapa and Ruahine Aero Club on 12/11/19, as a replacement for their ZK-WAK that was lost in the tragic mid-air collision at Masterton in July 2019.
