A nice fine day in Christchurch at last - but with the usual grotty Northeasterly
It was Hughes 500 day today at Heli Maintenance.
There were seven on site - including the five above. Nearest is the 369D ZK-HUW followed by the 369E ZK-HCC5; the 369D ZK-HSD; and the two NOTARS ZK-IDB and ZK-IGA.
Out of site - in the hangar - were the 369HS ZK-HBS3 [Ex HELiPRO - now with Alana Tuck of Kumara] and the 369D ZK-HDE3.
The lovely Piper PA-24-260 Comanche ZK-BAZ2 (c/n 24-3206) of Barry Payne has been parked up for a couple of days. It made the run back to Taupo this afternoon.
Also parked over for a couple of days has been the Cessna 310Q ZK-DEM2 (c/n 310Q-0765) of Photo Survey Ltd of North Shore. [Note in the background is the Cessna 402 VH-SVQ from the opposition - who appear to have taken over the NZ Aerial Mapping contracts]. The driver of DEM was blog contributor "Ardmorepilot" who requested a take off shot. Alas the best I could do in the heat haze was this lousy shot below.
Check out his blog at http://www.ardmorepilot.com/
Below - the Robinson R44 Raven II ZK-IFK2 (c/n 10083) from Way To Go Heli Service Ltd - dropped in to Heli Maintenance for some spray gear attention.
This was previously ZK-IFD and ZK-HTZ3.
And this object below happened to get in the way of my camera as I was heading off.
ZK-OXE is Airbus A320-232 (c/n 5993).
Cheers for the photos Bluebus!
