Question time # 165 resolved.

Well - That was obviously far too easy.
 It is indeed a De Havilland DH114 Heron.

 It is in fact the Transpac F-OANQ (c/n 14021) outside the DH hangar at Wellington Airport .
Date would be prior to September of 1964.
It used to cruise in occasionally for maintenance at DH's.
This was initially registered as F-BGXU before moving out to New Caledonia and becoming F-OANQ.
 Its fate is a little vague to me.
I have three dates for it being withdrawn from use : November 1969; 1970 and 1972. 
By my count we have had seven Heron airframes registered in NZ.
