Please be aware of the proximity of controlled airspace near the airfield!
Class C LL 2500' stepping down to LL1500' - 1nm south east of airfield.
and the control zone at 1500' to LL 1000' about 2nm south east
Also be aware there may be quiet a lot of departures from christchurch and they may not be on the frequency 119.2 until they are about to clear the zone and traffic Operating low flying zones and West Melton Airfield and the VFR transit lane under 1000'.
