Rangitata Island visitors today 04-11-2012

Paul Hood was down from Hanmer Springs with his Cessna 182T ZK-JRY (18281923). This was a Flightline import in May of 2007 for the Auckland Aero Club. It moved South in December of 2008.
 Imported from Denmark in the later part of 2009 was this Akrotech G200 ZK-LGT (c/n 9706-9), Wellington based with Russell Bell.
 ZK-LZR (c/n 31) is the Sam Fry Laser 300. Based on the Stephens Akro kit and built by Sam Fry, being first registered in the US as N31LZ.  Date of manufacture being 20-10-1992 - It came to NZ with Fernando Zayas and is Rangiora based. Above is Peter Parkinson's immaculate Great Lakes Baby Great Lakes ZK-ULM (c/n BLUL-01). Simonini powered, it first flew on 21-04-2012.
Ivan Krippner was on site with his Bushby MM1 Midget Mustang ZK-DDC (c/n AACA/107). This has been around since 1975.
