Imported into New Zealand in a damaged state and stored at Drury from early 2009 was Diamond DA40 Diamond Star N196DC. It was damaged in a cross wind landing in the States on 10 May 2008 when it veered off the runway at Lakeview, Oregon, and ended up in a ditch. Its US registration was cancelled on 04 August 2008 and now after some magic performed by Ross Gaddes and his team at Drury it has become ZK-MTZ from 20 September 2011.
At Ardmore in late October 2012. |
