A visit to the Aspiring Helicopters' base in the Matukituki Valley found their brand new AS350B3 ZK-HAH4 which was delivered last month. This replaced their earlier AS350B2 ZK-HAH3 which has been sold to The Helicopter Line and reregistered ZK-HPS3.
Nearby the Cattle Flat Station R44 ZK-IMV2 was busy herding sheep on the mountains below Treble Cone skifield. This was originally imported new in 2007 as ZK-HGI3, changing to ZK-HDJ3 in the same month and then IMV2 in 2008.
And over at Wanaka Airport the Wanaka Helicopters' AS350BA ZK-HIH2 now carries the company's scripting. This was imported from Japan in 1993.
