What, Why and When is it mainly used ?

OK ; its not a civil aircraft ; but it is in civilian hands.

  2. It looks like the small yaw vane on the front of a Harrier Jump Jet (Ashburton Aviation Museum) And is used when hovering for landing to check for any yaw that will have to be corrected before touchdown.

    Much better prize than that.
    I was thinking that a free ticket to last Saturdays Perth Demons versus Thunder game (which the Demons won by 43 points) might be more appropriate.
    However your own transport and accommodation would have to be provide.
    You may uplift your ticket from a safety deposit box in Zurich.
