Today is the 103rd anniversary of Armistice Day - 11/11/2018.
So to remember the Great War and those who served and those who fell, here is an amazing flypast of nine World War 1 British aircraft from The Vintage Aviator (Sir Peter Jackson's collection) that took place over Hood aerodrome at Masterton in 2019:
The aircraft are (from the front): a FE 2B, an RE 8, two Sopwith Pups, a DH 4, three SE 5As and a Sopwith Snipe. And here is an aerial view from the accompanying Tiger Moth. The images are screenshots from a recent documentary on Peter Jackson's Military Treasures on You Tube.
