Peter's send off at Rangiora today 05-08-2017

Today was the send off for Peter Dyer from his hangar at Rangiora.
At the end of the service a fly past of the above four aircraft took place.
L-R the Pietenpol ZK-PRB, Turbulent ZK-CAC. Isaacs Fury ZK-CYO and Peter's Rans S-6 ZK-MLD.
ZK-MLD then did a solo pass.
Followed by the Supermarine Spitfire ZK-CGV.
 The Druine D.31 Turbulent ZK-CAC.
The Ivan Campbell Supermarine Aircraft Spitfire Mk26B Replica ZK-CGV2 (c/n 52) has just taxied to a halt.
The Des Lines Isaacs Fury II ZK-CYO (c/n AACA/70) was operated by Peter in the late 1970's and again in the early 1990's.
Penny and Evan Belworthy arriving in their Pietenpol ZK-PRB (c/n AACA/755).

Below is a copy of the earlier Post on Peter.

Peter Frank Dyer
Passed away peacefully on July 7th 2017.
A private cremation has been held.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Peter's life at his Rangiora Airfield hangar on August the 5th at 12.00pm.

Peter was very well known and respected in the NZ aviation scene especially in the home built/amateur field.

Peter has built, owned and operated a number of aircraft including the following
The Druine D.31 Turbulent ZK-CAF.
The Percival Proctor ZK-AQZ.

The Volmer VJ-22 sportsman ZK-CTY.
Cessna 180 ZK-BZV.

The Lake Amphibian ZK-DKA.

The Mooney M20C ZK-DBN.

Isaac Fury ZK-CYO.
Quickie ZK-PFD.
Bearn Minicab ZK-CXB.
Lancair 320 ZK-PDQ.
Rans S-6 Coyote II T/D ZK-MLD.
Rans S-9 Chaos ZK-JRP.
Peter would talk for hours about his aircraft and loved being in the photographs - as in the two shots above.
I also believe he did some work on the Hatz Biplane and no doubt helped out on many other projects.
