Overflying Pauanui today was the BK117B-2 ZK-HDK6 which was imported by Airwork (NZ) Ltd from PNG back in 2020 and has now completed its refurbishment programme. It arrived in an orange and white scheme but has retained the orange only the fins.
In a previous life it was ZK-HLU2 from 1995 to 2002 also with Airwork, apart from 2 years with Helicopters Otago between 1999 and 2001.
