It was a fantastic day for flying in the North today, so I flew up to Dargaville for a bring your own lunch. There were a dozen or so visiting aircraft including a couple of new ones to me:
Alan Nelson has acquired the Micro Aviation Bantam B 22S ZK-MLK (c/n 01-0190). Quite a contrast to his Bristell but I reckon it would be at least as much fun.
Take off was commensurate with the 64 HP Rotax 582.
As was the climb out with 2 up.
Then followed Super Air's Cresco 08-600 ZK-PGE which gets around the country.
Lift off was empty with one up,
And the climb out was commensurate with goodness knows how many hundred horsepower!
That first shot of PGE is brilliant!
