Helicopters

A trip through Tauranga and down to Taupo revealed a lot of helicopter activity starting with Rotorua based Heli Hire's AS350B-2 ZK-HTH4 which was imported from the US in 2018.

Also at Tauranga was the Power Line Survey Bell 206B ZK-HOC3 as described in yesterday's blog below.

Moving onto Taupo the Murupara based Heli Resources Bell 206L-4 LongRanger IV ZK-HHX4 sprayer was tied down.  This was imported in 2018 from the US.

Local spraying company Chopper Worx have now relocated to Taupo Airport taking over the former Inflite facility.   They operate R44 Raven II ZK-ICW which was imported from Australia in 2014.

Receiving attention at Argus Aviation was R44 II ZK-HRU2 which is now all grey and changed ownership to Heli Farm Limited, Clinton in December 2020.  This was imported new in 2006.

And finally AS350B-2 ZK-HHZ4 and AS350B-3 ZK-IAE3 now both carry their operator Lakeview Helicopters titling.    HHZ was imported from Brazil in 2019 and IAE is a reregistration from ZK-HTW in May 2020.
