Black Sands Fly In - Raglan - November 7th and 8th.

The Waikato Thames Valley Chapter of the Sport Aircraft Association of NZ invites all recreational aviators to
Black Sands Fly-In 2015”
The fly-in Information Pack is now available and can be downloaded HERE
The Black Sands fly-in is organised by the Waikato Thames Valley Chapter of the Sport Aircraft Association. It is open to anyone interested in recreational aircraft, be it custom builts, microlights, gyro copters, gliding, model aircraft, vintage and warbird or factory built GA aircraft (and any others we’ve missed!). The aims of the weekend are pretty simple:
1. Have fun
2. Meet other people with similar ideas and interests
3. Promote safe sport flying and encourage good airmanship
4. Have fun!

On offer are BBQ lunches both days, flying activities, beach landing workshop Saturday afternoon and plenty of fun for families and non-aviators alike. Accommodation is available on site and there are plenty of great dinner options in Raglan. Top it all off with some of New Zealand’s best flying scenery and what more could you want?...
This year, proceeds from the fly-in are going to support the local Raglan St John Ambulance and Raglan Volunteer fire brigade. They continue to look after us as we use the airfield each year so this year we want to give something back to the community. We hope to be able to provide a new resuscitator for the Ambulance and new flood lights for the Fire Brigade.
Registration cost is $10.00 per person which includes aircraft landing fees (unlimited landings all weekend). Meals are additional and are on a “pay as you go” basis. Children 5 – 15 $5, under 5s Free. Please pay the registration fee upon arrival - you will receive a ticket into the hospitality “HQ” Area. No advance registrations are required this year – but we do recommend arranging your accommodation in advance with the Holiday Park.
