Sport Aviation Ltd, the New Zealand agents for TL Ultralight Aircraft from the Czech Republic, have imported another pair of aircraft from the factory with both being registered on 27/3/15. They arrived at North Shore Airfield in a container in late April.
Both aircraft have now ben assembled and have passed inspection by CAA. I photo'd them above outside the immaculate SAL hangar at North Shore yesterday, on 17/5/15.
TL 2000 Sting S4 ZK-MTN (c/n 15 ST 422) is registered to Glenn N Martin Ltd of Christchurch and will be based at Rangiora. Glenn Martin is the inventor of the Martin Jetpack. Its first flight in New Zealand was today 18/5/15.
TL 3000 Sirius ZK-SRZ (c/n 15 SI 107) is registered to Sport Aviation Ltd and is their new demonstrator so expect to see it around the country. Its first flight in New Zealand was on 16/5/15.
