The Callair B1A ZK-CRU.

As a follow on from the previous Callair post at:-
And an earlier post at :-
Allan Wooller has kindly sent in these three photographs of ZK-CRU (c/n 10029).
The first view shows it in its original B-1 Lycoming IO-720 form as seen at Hood airfield at Masterton in 1967.
The next two shots from Allan show ZK-CRU in its B-1A form with the Pratt and Whitney R985-AN1 radial engine at Hood, Masterton pre mid-March of 1968.

The lower view shows it parked up at Hamilton before it joined Air Services (Wairarapa) Ltd on 02-05-1967.
It crashed during a ferry flight at Wangaehu and was burned out on 16-03-1968; the pilot Ian Gibling was killed.
