After a quick session at Hampton Downs with son and grandsons we travelled back up the motorway for lunch at the golden arches, which lined us up nicely for the Drury turnoff and a visit to the gliding base. There was actually quite a bit of activity which I will post about, but one resident caught my eye:
Tiger Moth ZK-ASV with the registered colour scheme of NZ786 has been owned by Wayne Thomas and Craig Wing of Drury since 23/3/23. By the looks of the impressive cover and the tie downs and the propeller covers it looks like it lives outside.
