I mentioned that when Russell Thorne landed his ASW27-18E glider at Drury after failing to find lift it was fortuitous for me. This was because Russell is building a Carbon Cub at Drury and that was the main reason I visited the airfield. So after helping Russell secure his glider he graciously took me across to see it:
Cub Crafters Carbon Cub CCK-1865 ZK-RMT2 (c/n CCK-1865-1025) was registered to Russell on 25/8/22 and as you can see it is well advanced. It was built from a kit and has a nice 180 HP Titan engine up front.
