Gordonton Microlight Club Flyin BBQ Yesterday

Our reason for heading out over the Hauraki Gulf in David Signal's Foxbat was to head down to the Gordonton Microlight Club HQ near Taupiri where the GMC had invited the Northern Aviators Club for a lunchtime BBQ.  The weather was great but it was HOT!  I counted around 26 aircraft attending from as far away as Opotiki and Whangarei, and here is a selection of aircraft that were new to me:

Colin Wade arrived in his spectacular new BRM Aero Bristell LSA ZK-CJW5.  It is the fifth aircraft registered ZK-CJW that Colin has owned.

Zenith CH 601XL ZK-MAM is now back based at Opotiki, having returned there after stints at Parakai and Wanaka.

And Martin Henton's own demonstrator BRM Aero Bristell LSA ZK-NGO2 registered to Anderson Aviation NZ Ltd was hangared out of the sun.
