A visit to the Heli Sika base at Poronui Station east of Taupo today found their AS350BA ZK-HIU4 in residence. Based there with Hughes 369E ZK-HWB3, both helicopters are used to transport hunters into the Kaimanawa Ranges.
HIU was originally imported from Japan in 2008 and has recently been completely refurbished and painted in a new scheme.
