Kaipara Flats airfield is currently closed by a NOTAM except for use by locally based aircraft. But it was so nice on Saturday (and the runway is drying out a bit), that another resident aircraft was out for a local flight:
Socata TB 20 Trinidad ZK-JFC took off just before us for a local sightseeing flight. The aircraft has been registered here since 29/4/91 and has been owned for all that time by Dr J F Cleland of Auckland. It came to New Zealand from Australia where it was registered VH-SOA.
It has not been posted on the blog previously.
