Allister Jenks has kindly submitted these two photographs as taken today, January 7th 2026, at Wellington International Airport.
The Claridges Helicopters Ltd.'s Airbus AS 350 B3 ZK-HTL5 c/n 8572 seen departing Wellington about lunch time today for the Marlborough Sounds area. It had arrived in from Blenheim yesterday.
Originally it was registered as ZK-ILO2 on 20-09-2028.
It was re-registered as ZK-HTL5 with its sale to Claridges in June last year.
Departing for Auckland and then to Queenstown was the Jetstar Airways Pty Ltd.'s Airbus A320-232 VH-VGF, which is c/n 4497.
Ordered new for Jetstar it first flew with the French Airbus test registration of F-WWIK on 08-11-2010.
It became VH-VGF on 12-11-2010 listed to ARCU Aircraft Leasing of Grand Cayman Islands and leased to Jetstar.
It was delivered into Melbourne on 28-11-2010 in the standard Company colours.
In May of 2014 it was re-painted into its current colour scheme as part of the Jetstar 10th Anniversary.
On the port side it carries large '#jetstargeneration' lettering; and on the starboard side has large
'Low Fares Forever'
