Ron Ark takes the prize with Simmonds Spartan ZK-ABK c/n 46.

Photo below shows the original photo taken at Wigram on 12-01-2009.

And below ZK-ABK at Wigram on 16-12-2008 with rebuilder Bob McGarry walking away having just hand started it. That is John Goddard in the cockpit.

First flight following this rebuild was on 02-11-2008.

It is now housed in the Ashburton Aviation Museum.
