Receiving attention at Wanaka today was Over the Top's AS350B2 ZK-HYA3 which also carries Heli Bike NZ titling. This was originally imported new as ZK-HQG3 in 2009, moving onto HYA in 2016 and acquired by Over the Top in October 2023.
The latest addition to the Alpine Helicopters fleet is Schweizer 269C ZK-HMO4. This was imported from Germany in late 2022, initially aspiring to become ZK-HMB3 but instead settled on HMO. It spends much of its time at Minaret Station.
And always good to see outside is Alpine Helicopters' Hiller UH-12E ZK-HBL2 which carries Luggate Game Packers titling reflecting the heritage of the original HBL. This machine was originally imported from the US in 1970 as ZK-HDJ being withdrawn from use in 1983, and then rebuilt as HBL by 1987.
