Mark Pattenden was recently at Matamata and captured this image of ZK-CFS2 (c/n AC13B01). You can click on the photo to enlarge it and see some of the details of the Mazda rotary engine which will produce around 120 HP.The Asso Champion V was designed by Guiseppe Vidore and is the basis of the Alpi Pioneer 300. We have had one other Asso Champion V registered in New Zealand, being Grahame Fletcher's ZK-OSC at Omaka. You can find details of it HERE
Thanks for the photos Mark and Jordan.
