Asso Champion V ZK-CFS/2 at Matamata

Andrew Campbell's long term Asso Champion V aircraft build has recently reached the stage of assembly at Matamata aerodrome, and registration as ZK-CFS2 on 16/2/24:

Mark Pattenden was recently at Matamata and captured this image of ZK-CFS2 (c/n AC13B01).  You can click on the photo to enlarge it and see some of the details of the Mazda rotary engine which will produce around 120 HP.

The aircraft features spectacular flying dragon artwork which will really make it stand out!

The Asso Champion V was designed by Guiseppe Vidore and is the basis of the Alpi Pioneer 300.  We have had one other Asso Champion V registered in New Zealand, being Grahame Fletcher's ZK-OSC at Omaka.  You can find details of it HERE
