A visit today to Taupo Airport found Te Kuiti based Western Helicopters' R44 II ZK-HRT3 in for attention at Argus Aviation. HRT was imported from Fiji in late 2020.
Also at Argus was Mid West Helicopters latest fleet addition, the ex Salt Air Bell 206L-4 ZK-IIV. This was originally imported from Brazil in 2017.
Further down SH1 at Taihape Mid West Helicopters base 3 helicopters at the airfield, AS350B2 ZK-IDI, a Hughes 500 and the Schweizer 269C ZK-HFD4. This was imported by the company from Belgium in late 2021.
