Ardmore Visits

First visit/s to Ardmore for 2012 has provided an opportunity to catch up with a few 'new ones.

NZ's first Skycatcher ZK-DNA underwent an identity change in in November 2011 taking up the historical marks ZK-AAC.

And the second and third Skycatchers are at Ardmore awaiting re-construction.  N3040B is to become ZK-AMN with the Auckland Aero Club and I guess the one in the background could be N6006A slated to become ZK-VCG.  An additional unit has been placed on the register for Air Napier as ZK-SKC.

A recent arrival in the country from the USA is Cessna A185F ZK-CBF.

Based at Waiheke Island with HeliScene, Robinson R44 ZK-HFG was having some attention at Heliflite.

Heliops of Kerikeri registered this Robinson R44 ZK-HLL on 12 January this year.

Helilink/Airwork BK117 B-1 ZK-HOU (c/n 1041_ was out and about 19 January.

Northland Emergency Trust's third Sikorsky S76 ZK-IKM has been at Hawker Pacific for several months and it made its way outside 18 January.  Noted in the Helicopter Flight Training hanger 19 January was NEST Sikorsky S76 ZK-IAL, perhaps associated with http://www.hft.school.nz/training/meifr.html

  3. There was something about the fact that it was a historical marking for the Aero Club and not for a particular Aircraft.
