Noted at Rangiora on Friday was the Aerospool WT9 600 NG ZK-ALL2 c/n DY-860D of Aero Leasing Ltd.
In its original form it had a three bladed propellor but now carries a five bladed Helix H42A of 1.75m on the front of its Rotax 916 engine.
Tests indicated an increase of static thrust of 40% with a corresponding increase in overall performance.
