ZK-MCR is back.

Cessna A185F Skywagon II ZK-MCR1 (c/n 18504429) was laid out as N714XT and arrived at Dunedin on 24-12-1984 to become ZK-MCR on 01-01-1985 for The Mount Cook Group.
Given the Company number of '32' it plied its ski plane role out of  the Mount Cook Airfield.
Seen below on 11-12-1986 with Mount Cook Airline titles and the Mount Cook ranunculas on its tail.
From 30-06-1998 it came under the umbrella of Tourism Holdings Ltd and then the Aoraki Mount Cook Ski Planes Ltd from 20-12-2002.
It is seen below on the Tasman Glacier on 13-09-2005 with Mount Cook Ski Planes script and minus the 'lilly'.
Below we have it at Rangiora on 13-07-2011.
Richard Royds started using it as his personal mount and it was listed to Sunset Aviation Ltd of Christchurch in October of 2015.
It was damaged at the Growler Strip in the head of the Rakaia River in December of 2015.
The damaged aircraft was recovered to Avtek at Timaru and in due course went to Tauranga for a rebuild.
Ownership passed to Palms on George of Pukekohe from 03-02-2016.
Below. Shot taken today (06-09-2017) of it at Tauranga following rebuild. Pic by Grayson Ottaway.
