A visit to the MacKenzie Helicopters base near Lake Tekapo today found their AS350B2 ZK-IYW in residence. This was originally imported from Japan back in 1991 as ZK-HZM and spent many years flying in the Taupo and Gisborne areas before acquisition by Mackenzie Helicopters in August 2023 and reregistration as ZK-IYW.
