Christchurch this day. Friday the 20th September 2024.

A nice mix of aeronautical machines were noted at Christchurch International this afternoon.

Its Norwegian registration was cancelled on 12-10-2022 for it to become ZK-HIF4 on 08-11-2022 with Pacific Aircraft Services Ltd of Christchurch,
It was taken up by David Hannan of Auckland from 12-04-2023.
Currently listed to a "Private Owner".

Cessna 510 Mustang ZK-LCA c/n 510-0011 was parked near the Canterbury Aero Club.
From the year 2007 and initially registered as N2243W it was a demonstrator in Australasia from September of 2007 before being operated from Hastings - still as N2243W by the Lowe Corporation.
It came onto the NZ register as ZK-LCA on 09-06-2009 with Graeme Lowe Aviation Ltd of Hastings.
It transferred to Air Hawkes Bay Ltd on 07-07-2010 and then to GESL Aviation Holdings Ltd from 31-08-2016. (this was Graeme Lowe's initials) and it was still operated by Air Hawkes Bay.
Another Hastings change saw it listed with Jet Charter Services Ltd from 28-02-2021 with a transfer to its current operator Air Napier Ltd of Napier from 02-02-2024.
It arrived in early this morning from Wellington and returned to the same early this afternoon.

Also on the scene was the Beechcraft Super King Air B350i NZ2350 c/n FL-897.
Acquired by the RNZAF pre-loved. Arriving at Ohakea on 19-11-2018.
It was initially N897HP with Beechcraft, then to RP-C1834 and VH-ZPF.

Boeing P-8A Poseidon (Boeing 737-8FV) NZ4801 c/n 67-107, did a touch and go before going home to Ohakea.
This first flew on the Boeing test registration of N786DS on 07-08-2022 and ferried into Ohakea on
                                                                          12-12-2022.

Lockhead C130H-104-LM NZ7002 c/n 4053 was parked quietly in the corner. This was originally allocated the US serial 64-15095. It had an aborted attempt to McMurdo yesterday.

Its colleague NZ7005 c/n 4313 went south today and arrived at Phoenix Field McMurdo Sound about mid afternoon.
