Noted working on the Northern edge of Christchurch City this afternoon was the Aerospatiale AS 350 B2 ZK-IPE2 c/n 3343 of Independent Helicopters Ltd of Christchurch.
Built in late 2000 as N852ML with a change to N202AE in 2006.
Ownership moved to Air Methods Corporation for use in the EMS role.
Its US registration was cancelled on 20-11-2018 for its move to New Zealand and registration as ZK-IPE on 26-02-2019 with Oceania Aviation.
Its first flight as ZK-IPE was at Ardmore on 28-05-2019 and it was transferred to Independent Helicopters from 28-06-2019.
It still retains the same colour scheme as used by Air Methods in the States.
