ZK-ANL at NZHS

Matt Hayes continues his travels and has provided these shots of ZK-ANL taken at Hastings.
De Havilland DH82A Tiger Moth ZK-ANL (c/n 82512) is currently listed with R J and P A Wylie of Masterton.
It now wears a modified colour scheme since it was last posted on these pages.
The red chequered rudder is new - as is the red, white and blue fin with its old RNZAF serial of NZ861. On its nose it carries the Astro Air script (and the hound) which is the Company name under which it operated  between 1978 and late 1980. Also a Fieldair logo on the side cowling.
I don't recall it being operated by Fieldair during its Ag career.
To check the previous posts on this aircraft - type ANL into the search box in the top left hand corner of the header page.

  1. Pretty sure this is the very same Tiger Moth my old Dad (Les Grant) flew from Waipukurau Aero Club way back. In the1950s he won what we recall was called the Bledsoe cup for aerobatics. Rob Grant. Nelson
