Zenith Zodiac CH 650 ZK-LMG

Ian Sowman has sent a photo of John and Lyn White's new Zenith Zodiac CH 650 ZK-LMG2  taken at Bridge Pa on the evening of 9-1-15. John and Lyn built the aircraft from a quick-build kit in 18 months and it has a 135 HP UL Power engine.  It was test flown by Jerry Chisum at Bridge Pa on 20/12/14 and has flown around 15 hours to date.  The first ZK-LMG was John and Lyn's Impulse 100TD which was sold and exported in June 2013.

The CH 650 is the latest version of the Zodiac family with a new bigger clamshell canopy and new rudder.  It is the same size as the CH-601XL with a length of 20 feet (6.1 metres)and a wingspan of 27 feet (8.23 metres), however it weighs a little more at 660 pounds empty with a MAUW of 1,320 pounds.
