Having successfully negotiated the Jetstar website's pre-loaded charges and getting a flight for $29, I was pleasantly surprised to be allocated a window seat on Flight JQ 267 from Auckland to Wellington last Tuesday 21/7/15. It was even better to be on the best side of the aircraft for views, so below are some of them (with a ciouple af bookending shots from Auckalnd and Wellington International's). Our Jetstar aircraft was Airbus A 320 VH-JQU.
At Auckland International BAE Jetstream 3200 ZK-ECI of Airwork Flight Operations Ltd landed and taxied in.
Descending into Wellington with a nice view of Kapiti Island from the seaward side and the snow capped Tararuas in the distance.
And at Wellington International a long shot of Air New Zealand ZK-NEO on short finals with the Blue Bridge ferry Strait Feronia entering Wellington Heads in the background.

and Air Calin Airbus A 320-200 F-OZNC taxied out for take-off.
Abeam Raglan...
Past the snow laden Mounts Ruapehu, Tongariro and Ngauruhoe...
