A Couple of Other First Time Aircraft at SAANZ 2025

There were a couple of other aircraft attending their first SAANZ flyin, at Ashburton on 8/2/25, both single seat aerobatic biplanes:

Pitts S 1S ZK-MPM has been covered on the blog previously after it was rescued from Northland and registered to the MPM Syndicate on 15/6/23.  I do not think it would have been to a SAANZ flyin before and certainly not with its new Pitts trim.  I think it was flown to Ashburton by David Wilkinson.

The EAA Acrosport ZK-YKS was also attending its first SAANZ flyin, albeit at its home airfield.  It is ex N19ED and you can find out its history HERE .
