Continuing our travels up the East Coast a visit to Gisborne Airport on Sunday afternoon as well as offering access to the Gisborne Aviation Museum, provided Air Napier's 1977 model Piper PA34-200T Seneca ZK-MSL. This was imported from the US in 1988.
Onto Whakatane today Air Chathams Swearingen SA227CC ZK-POF was at the terminal, this having now been repainted in the company's fleet colours.
Further along was the resident Super Air turbine Fu24-950 ZK-DZO
