An Aerial Adventure Today 9-9-2020

I was very fortunate to be invited to tag along with Brien O'Brien and Bruce Reynolds in their aircraft today.

On finals for North Shore with Brien in his Texan ZK-TXN2.

At North Shore Cessna 185 ZK-SME was a long way from home.

Then I swapped to Bruce's Sirius ZK-SRZ.

Searey ZK-SWM taxied past outbound to the Coromadel

Then we flew down the North Shore transit lane, past Long Bay

then Browns Bay,

then Milford and Takapuna,

And on to North Head.  We were looking for Americas Cup boats but they didn't come out to play today.

I tried a bit of air to air photography with limited success.

Then after lunch at North Shore it was back into the Texan and out to Kawau Island.

With a bit more air to air photography of the Sirius.
