These two Aerospataile AS350 B2's of Helicopters (NZ) Ltd were spotted yesterday (10-11-09) in the Antarctic Compound at Christchurch International Airport presumably awaiting a lift down to McMurdo. And presumably for the Italian Antarctic program at Terra Noova Bay..JPG)
Top pic is ZK-IBH (c/n 2469) which spent the last two summers working for the Indian Antarctic Expedition.Bottom Pic is ZK-HNR3 (c/n 2486). Previously operated by HNZ as ZK-HFB2 between 1981 and 2002. It went to Oz to become VH-WCW on 17-10-02 and returned to NZ as HNR on 07-10-08.
