Pauanui report.

Todays report actually starts with a late departure from yesterday afternoon.
Heading home late yesterday (05-01-2017) was the De Havilland DH83C Fox Month ZK-APT (c/n FM48) which has featured previously HERE
For Friday the 6th it was nice to see the Niki Rotor Aviation Kallithea ZK-KTH (c/n 007) is getting out and about.
This was registered to Gyrate NZ Ltd of Mount Maunganui on 03-11-2016.

This Cessna 182P Skylane ZK-MGU (c/n 18263111) is a 1974 model that plied the Australian skies as VH-MHH from September 1974 until ferrying into Christchurch via Auckland and Norfolk Island on 19 and 20-09-1994.
It was registered to Gordon MacPhee as ZK-MGO1 on 01-11-1994. Gordon re-registered it as ZK-MGU on 11-08-1997 before selling it to the E C Mackintosh Trust of Taumarunui from 21-09-1998.
It was on sold to its current owner Tony Antonievich of Auckland on 30-01-2001.
To complete the picture Gordon imported a 1997 model Cessna 182R and registered it as ZK-MGO2 on 17-02-1998. This in turn became ZK-JCV3  in 2009.
A recent addition to our register is the Vans RV10 ZK-PHL (c/n 40388) for Phillip Anderson of Hawera from 08-08-2016.
It was built and registered to Chris McGough of Broome, WA as VH-ICY on 09-11-2007 and then on sold to M and T Smits Pty Ltd of Seymour, Victoria on 18-11-2009.
It ferried across the Ditch from Archerfield to Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island on 26-07-2016 and then on to Norfolk Island, Auckland and New Plymouth on the 27th.
Below is a shot of it as VH-ICY taken at Nhill by Richard Currie in October 2015.
