The Pilatus PC-6 B1-H2 Turbo Porter ZK-JML2 (c/n 653) has found a new home with Skydive Nelson Ltd, of Motueka. As A14-653 this Porter was one of 19 used by the Australian military.
It came to NZ in early 2006. The photo above shows it at Taieri on 09-10-2007 with its white registration letters; and the lower photo from Sir Minty shows at at Ardmore on 13-03-2010 with silver markings.
Stand by for a very apt change of registration marks for this aircraft.
Its ex Mercer workmate ZK-JMP3 (also ex Australian Army) is currently undergoing a 14 year inspection.
yes this will be mint! He will keep the fletcher for a while too.
ReplyDeleteThanks DJE.
