The pilot in that particular incident was very fortunate to come away unscathed, could very nearly have been a whole lot worse I understand.The aircraft was not so lucky, it's back in the air but after many months of rebuilding - it's not a tail dragger any more.
Absolutely correct there anonymous - on all counts.I promised not to publish any "full frontals" of the incident - hence this radically cropped view.
...and here was me thinking that we were supposed to guess the type and rego, based on the tire tread :-)Good to hear that the pilot came away unscathed.
