The electric powered Beta Technologies CX300 N401NZ (c/n BT31C-0004) has been operating in New Zealand since Mid-October on lease to Air New Zealand and operating on route trials mainly on the Wellington, Blenheim and Nelson routes.

N401NZ was first registered to the Manufacturers Beta Technologies Inc, at South Burlington, Vermont on 14-03-2025, gaining its airworthiness certificate on 26-07-2025 in the market survey, crew training, research and development roles.
It spent a short period of time in Canada before arriving at Tauranga and I believe first flew from there on 17-10-2025.
