Tucked away in a corner at Rangiora today (08-03-2025) was the Cessna U206F Stationair ZK-LAE3. c/n U20603378 as listed to Simon Turner of Christchurch since 17-06-2024.

This U206 has been around since July of 1976, serving as N8522Q briefly before moving to Malaysia as 9M-AUZ in October. Twenty years later it became P2-KDT in PNG before moving to Australia to become VH-DCJ3 on 30-05-2003, followed by VH-MSF2 from 22-11-2005.
In early 2009 it took up duties with Vanuatu Air Charter as YJ-VAC.
It was rather badly damaged in tropical cyclones Judy & Kevin at Port Vila on 04-03-2023.
It joined the NZ register on 17-06-2024 as ZK-LAE3.
