Our Latest Civil Huey - ZK-HXL/4 at Taupo

Earlier in the week Mark Pattenden photo'd the latest Bell UH 1 to be registered here, at Taupo:

ZK-HXL4 (c/n 4637/65-9593) was registered to a Private Owner on 19/2/24 and as can be seen it is wearing Lakeview Helicopters titles.

Thanks to Richard Currie we have its history as below: 

Dec 65      Taken on charge by US Army as an UH-1D 65-9593 with 68^th Assault Helicopter Company "Top Tigers"  Converted at some stage to UH-1H
