On 22-09-2014 the Royal Australian Air Force's Alenia/Leonardo C-27J Spartan A34-010 c/n 4189/AUS10 arrived in town.

It flew in from Launceston, Tasmania and then later continued on to Ohakea.
If I recall correctly, NZ7011 left Christchurch for Blenheim, where I snapped it uplifting what I think was an engine, plus propellor off one of its forebears or a P-3K2. https://www.flickr.com/photos/zkarj/shares/X50092iL2t
