A visit to Taupo Airport today offered a number of helicopters receiving attention at Rotor & Wing starting with the Heli Hire R44 II ZK-IWB which is one of 2 R44s based by the company at Tihoi, north west of Taupo. IWZ was originally imported new in 2007 as ZK-IPZ being cancelled in 2019 as exported but returning as IWZ in 2021. No details are known of where it went offshore.

Across from Hawkes Bay was Heli Ag's AS350B2 ZK-ICR which is based at Maraekakaho. This was imported from the US in 2015.
