Further to the Ardmore blog of 5 October below the Hawker Hunter components stored at Ardmore are joining the 2 complete Hawker Hunters at Tauranga in being readied for shipment to Australia.
The 2 complete aircraft were noted at Classic Flyers Tauranga last week bring the former ZK-JIL (serial 517) and serial 500. Both were disposed of back in 1993 by the Singapore Air Force and acquired by an Australian buyer before being shipped to NZ in 1995.
