Douglas C-17 Globemaster III 03-3127 (c/n 50135) over the boundary fence.
The first flight for the 2020 Antarctic Season, RCH175, arriving this morning into Christchurch from Hickam after making the hop from McChord Air Force Base to Hawai'i yesterday.
I am told the crew are now into their 2 week quarantine before departing for the Ice.
This year will be a very abbreviated season apparently, Antarctica of course being almost the only Covid Free place on earth.
