Out in the pasture

During a session of maintenance at West Melton Victa Airtourer ZK-COW was found to have a dose of corrosion. Removal of the fuselage and top wing skin showed that it was beyond economical repair.
Pic above at West Melton on 22-09-95.
The aircraft later went to Gerald Rhodes and was moved to his Transport Mooseum at Wanaka where it is on display minus some panels (as a holy cow). Pic 30-03-02.
And I can't resist adding this pic of the Piper PA22/20 ZK-PAT2. [Wonder if it has been beefed up ?]

Now, I am about to heard off to the udder coast for work for the next few days, where I really do have a cow of a job to undertake.
